Hong Kong Authorized Economic Operators (HKAEOs) could enjoy priority on the consignments being handled and time for customs clearance could be largely shortened. This helps the companies in reducing operating costs, strengthening marketability and exploring more business opportunities. For the smooth running of the expedited services to HKAEOs, officers of the Office of Supply Chain Security Management conducted a site visit to the Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point today for identifying the locations of facilities for HKAEOs including the “Priority Service Counter” and “Priority Parking Bay” in a bid to shorten the time required for customs clearance of HKAEOs’ consignments.
