National Security Education Day and Hong Kong Customs College Open Day

Introduction

To fully support the National Security Education Day, Customs and Excise Department (C&ED) will hold an Open Day at the Hong Kong Customs College (HKCC) on 18 April 2025 (Friday). The Open Day aims to enhance the public's understanding on the role and work of C&ED in safeguarding national security through a series of interactive activities.

During the Open Day, there will be different activities, such as national security education exhibitions, performances and carnival games, to raise the public awareness of national security through enjoyable experiences. The Customs and Excise Dragon and Lion Dance Association, along with the Customs detector dogs, will participate in the performances, and there will also be an exhibition of firearms and equipment.

Registration

The system will be opened for the public registration of admission ticket from 31.3.2025 (Monday) to 2.4.2025 (Wednesday). (Closed)

The balloting result will be sent to all applicants by email on 11 April 2025 (Friday). Successful applicants shall bring along a QR code ticket attached in the email for admission.

Transportation Arrangement

Parking space is not available. Free shuttle bus services will be provided from Tuen Mun and Tsuen Wan to the Hong Kong Customs College (Outbound: from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM / Return: from 4:00 PM to 5:20 PM). The pickup points are at Sai Lau Kok Road, Tsuen Wan (under Luk Yeung Galleria Mall, opposite to Tsuen Wan Multi-storey Carpark Building) and Tuen Mun Heung Sze Wui Road (next to Trend Plaza).

Inclement Weather Arrangement

If the Hong Kong Observatory continues to issue a Tropical Cyclone Warning No. 8 or above / Black Rainstorm Warning signal at or after 12:00 noon on the day of the event, the open day will be cancelled.
