Following the publication of a feature article “HKAEO Programme, International Customs Clearance Fast Pass • Riding on “Belt and Road” Express “on the cover page of the Monthly Bulletin of The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMAHK) in November, officers of Office of Supply Chain Security Management (OSCS) of Hong Kong Customs further the sharing of the Programme details in the General Committee Meeting of CMAHK today (19 December 2019).
Representatives from OSCS introduced the latest development of the HKAEO Programme and the potential benefits brought about by the Programme, including reduced customs inspection and prioritized customs clearance. By strengthening the competitiveness and marketability of the enterprises, more business opportunities could be explored especially along the Belt and Road Region and the Greater Bay Area.
Hong Kong Customs will continue to promote the HKAEO Programme through various trade associations, so as to benefit more quality enterprises through facilitative measures under the Programme.
