While special work arrangement for government departments has been implemented in order to reduce the risk of the spread of the novel coronavirus, the facilitation under the Hong Kong Authorized Economic Operator (HKAEO) Programme remains unchanged and HKAEOs’ cargos can enjoy reduced inspection and expedited customs clearance in Hong Kong.
For strengthening the support to HKAEOs, Office of Supply Chain Security Management has designated Account Manager for each HKAEO as a specific contact point. Should HKAEOs encounter any difficulties in customs clearance, they can contact the designated Account Managers or call HKAEO Programme enquiry hotline at 3759 2153 for assistance.
