Subsequent to the overwhelming response received from the previous webinar for promoting the Hong Kong Authorized Economic Operator (HKAEO) Programme, officers of Office of Supply Chain Security Management (OSCS) of Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department participated in a live-streaming webinar titled “Tap into GBA B2C Market Right” organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) today (26 June 2020). Around 500 traders attended the webinar.
During the workshop, representative of OSCS gave an in-depth presentation on the latest development of the HKAEO Programme and its benefits. With the HKAEO branding and the exclusive customs clearance benefits, enterprise can explore more business opportunities in the Greater Bay Area (GBA). Besides, representative from HKTDC and Tmall Global introduced the B2C market trend and opportunities in the GBA and ways to identify e-commerce strategies to unleash market potential in the webinar.
OSCS will maintain close contact with various organizations, in a bid to strive for more trade facilitation benefits for local traders to seize business opportunities in the GBA.
