E-commerce becomes the new trend in global business during the anti-epidemic period. Enterprises should review their supply chain management and security to seize the new business opportunities. Thus, Office of Supply Chain Security Management (OSCS) of Customs and Excise Department participated as a speaker in the webinar titled “Counter the pandemic by e-commerce” organized by the Hong Kong Netrepreneurs Association today (24 November 2020). Around 50 participants attended the webinar with overwhelming responses.
During the workshop, representative from OSCS gave an in-depth presentation on how the HKAEO Programme can help enterprises upgrade their supply chain security and seize e-commerce business opportunities in overseas markets. Other speakers from the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and industry representative introduced how e-commerce can help enterprise to unleash new markets and analyzed business strategies for online stores.
OSCS will maintain close contact with various organizations to promote the HKAEO Programme and make the utmost effort to strive for more trade facilitation benefits for local traders to explore further business opportunities.
