The opening of Hong Kong – Zhuhai-Macau Bridge (HZMB) not only provides one more access point for passengers to ply between Hong Kong, Mainland and Macau, but also shorten the processing time of cross border cargo for the logistics industries.
To tally with the set-up of other control points and provide seamless clearance within Guangdong-Hong Kong Macau Greater Bay Area to the AEO companies, Hong Kong Customs set up ‘AEO Priority Service Counter’ and ‘AEO Priority Parking Space’ in the HZMB control point. Upon using these designated facilities, AEO companies will enjoy prioritized customs clearance. As such, they can save time and cost in their supply chain management.
