At the invitation of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), officers from the Ports and Maritime Command (PMC) of Hong Kong Customs attended the Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair 2019 on 8 November 2019.
Over 100 Hong Kong-based wine companies participated in the event. PMC officers took the opportunity to visit the exhibition booth and briefly introduced the FTA Scheme to them. Besides, PMC officer delivered an in-depth presentation on the FTA Scheme and its associated benefits at the seminar titled "Go Beyond Custom Districts - Wine Transhipment under Customs Facilitation Schemes Made Easy" which was joined by some 50 participants from the wine industry, with particular focus on transhipment wine products in Hong Kong entering the Mainland China.
PMC will continue to maintain close contact with stakeholders and seize every opportunity to promote the FTA Scheme to different industries.
