On the sideline of the 15th International Medical and Healthcare Fair on 17 May 2024, Hong Kong Customs co-organised a seminar with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Under the theme of "Innovations boosting Smart Health Experience", the fair offered a platform for industry players to stay updated on the latest developments and build connections within the medical products field. During the seminar, an officer of the Ports and Maritime Command (PMC) delivered a presentation of the Free Trade Agreement Transhipment Facilitation Scheme (FTA Scheme) and underlined how exhibitors can utilize the FTA Scheme to enjoy tariff concessions under relevant trade agreements between the Mainland of China and her trading partners.
