In cooperation with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Hong Kong Customs organised a seminar on the sideline of the Spring Electronics Fair on 15 April 2024 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Themed "World's Leading Electronics Marketplace", the 20th edition of the fair was a spectacular electronics showcase, attracting exhibitors and premier buyers from all over the world. Speaking at the seminar, an officer of the Ports and Maritime Command (PMC) underlined how traders could benefit from tangible tariff concessions and enhance competitiveness by joining the Free Trade Agreement Transhipment Facilitation Scheme (FTA Scheme). PMC officers also seized the opportunity to visit exhibition booths, distribute leaflets and introduce the FTA Scheme to exhibitors.
