In cooperation with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Hong Kong Customs organised a seminar on the sideline of the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) on 30 October 2023 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Under the theme "Light Up Every Opportunity", the fair featured over 2,600 exhibitors all over the world, presenting an extensive array of innovative and state-of-the-art lighting products. An officer of the Ports and Maritime Command (PMC) delivered a presentation introducing the Free Trade Agreement Transhipment Facilitation Scheme (FTA Scheme) and how traders would benefit most from it. PMC officers also took the opportunity of the fair to distribute leaflets and introduce the FTA Scheme to the exhibitors in person.
