Hong Kong Customs organized a seminar on the sideline of three technology fairs running concurrently by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council - Electronics Fair, International Lighting Fair and InnoEX, on 12 April 2023 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Under the theme "Connecting the World with Innovations for Better Living", the fairs converged over 2,900 local and overseas exhibitors of electronic and tech products. An officer of the Ports and Maritime Command (PMC) shared the latest development of the Free Trade Agreement Transhipment Facilitation Scheme (FTA Scheme) and how the scheme would help traders enjoy tariff reduction and tap into new market regime. PMC officers also took the opportunity to visit the exhibition booths, distribute leaflets and introduce the FTA Scheme to the exhibitors in person.
