In cooperation with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Hong Kong Customs organized a sideline seminar on 1 March 2023 during the concurrent International Jewellery Show and International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
More than 2,500 local and overseas exhibitors displayed their glittering creations and jewellery raw materials at the shows. An officer of the Ports and Maritime Command (PMC) delivered a comprehensive presentation on stage encapsulating how traders could embrace the benefits of tariff reduction brought by the FTA Scheme. PMC officers also took the opportunity to visit the exhibition booths, distribute leaflets and introduce the FTA Scheme to the exhibitors in person.
