In cooperation with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Hong Kong Customs organized a seminar on the sideline of three concurrent trade fairs - Toys & Games Fair, Baby Products Fair and Stationery & School Supplies Fair, on 11 January 2023 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The trade fairs attracted over 1,000 local and overseas exhibitors. An officer of the Ports and Maritime Command (PMC) delivered a presentation at the seminar with elaboration on how businesses could embrace tariff reduction benefits brought about by the Free Trade Agreement Transhipment Facilitation Scheme (FTA Scheme).
PMC officers also took the opportunity to visit the exhibition booths, distribute leaflets and introduce the FTA Scheme to the exhibitors in person. PMC will continue to maintain close contact with stakeholders and seize every opportunity to promote the FTA Scheme to different industries.
