Hong Kong Customs joined the five flagship technology series fairs - Electronic Fair, ElectronicAsia, ICT Expo, Lighting Fair and Outdoor & Tech Light Expo, organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council on 14 October 2022 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Over 1,100 exhibitors from the Mainland of China and overseas showcased their creative products and innovative solutions in the fairs, hoping to attract foreign buyers. Officers of the Ports and Maritime Command (PMC) seized the chance to introduce to the exhibitors how traders could make use of the Free Trade Agreement Transhipment Facilitation Scheme (FTA Scheme) and Hong Kong's position as a transhipment hub in order to enjoy tariff reduction.
