In cooperation with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Hong Kong Customs organized a seminar on the sideline of the Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair on 9 September 2022 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
A comprehensive presentation, with a focus on how the watch & clock industry could enjoy the benefits of tariff reduction and keep pace with new opportunities by joining the Free Trade Agreement Transhipment Facilitation Scheme (FTA Scheme), was delivered by an officer of the Ports and Maritime Command (PMC) at the seminar to over 70 participants. PMC officers also took the opportunity to introduce the FTA Scheme to some 80 exhibitors from all over the world while visiting their booths.
