Extension of waiver measure of the Service Fees payable under the Free Trade Agreement Transhipment Facilitation Scheme (FTA Scheme)

In order to sustain the support for businesses and relieve individuals' financial burden in view of the impact of coronavirus disease 2019, the service fees payable under the Free Trade Agreement Transhipment Facilitation Scheme (FTA Scheme) were waived for two consecutive years with effect from 1 October 2020.

The waiver measure of service fees payable is further extended for one more year with effect from 1 October 2022.

The service fees waived include:

• Documentary processing fee; and
• Customs supervision service fee.
