Hong Kong Customs teamed up with the Australian Border Force to fight against drug trafficking to Australia through air mail from October 17 to December 9. As a result, six cases were detected in Hong Kong involving the seizure of about 5 kilograms of drugs, including methamphetamine and Gamma-Butyrolactone, with an estimated market value of about $1.67 million.
With the coming of Christmas and the New Year, Hong Kong Customs will maintain vigorous enforcement and continue to join with overseas authorities to combat transnational drug trafficking activities.
