6th World Customs Organization Global Canine Forum Crowned with Success

Hong Kong Customs achieved unprecedented success in hosting the 6th World Customs Organization (WCO) Global Canine Forum from 5 to 7 March. The event yielded fruitful results by gathering over 120 participants from 46 customs administrations as well as local canine forces to discuss canine-related topics and share experience.

On 6 March, the Inauguration Ceremony of the newly accredited WCO Regional Dog Training Centre (RDTC) was held. Participants had the opportunity to visit the RDTC at the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Dog Base and learned about the achievements and latest developments of the Hong Kong Customs Canine Force.

After the Forum, a Heads of RDTC Meeting was held to discuss the accreditation standards and procedures for becoming a RDTC, with the aim of enhancing professionalism and collaboration among canine forces.
