During the Lunar New Year holidays, the operating hours of Lo Wu Control Point and Shenzhen Bay Control Point were extended. Hong Kong Customs supported the arrangement by deploying manpower and resources flexibly. The then Assistant Commissioner（Boundary and Ports）of Customs and Excise, Ms Ng Kit-ching, led delegations to meet with Shenzhen, Gongbei and Macao Customs to discuss preparations. The Inter-departmental Joint Command Centre monitored the boundary control points, ensuring smooth operations and safe crossings for travelers and vehicles.
