Hong Kong Customs College signed a Cooperative Arrangement on exchange and cooperation with Shanghai Customs College (SCC) on 9 September 2023 in order to enhance exchanges and cooperation between both colleges in customs-related training and academic research. The signing was witnessed by the Deputy Commissioner (Management and Strategic Development) of Customs and Excise, Mr Lai Lau-pak, and President of the Shanghai Customs College, Mr Cong Yuhao. Both sides will deepen exchanges in the training on National Studies and Customs operation and enhance learning effectiveness through the development and application of technology.
The signing coincided with the celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the SCC. A Hong Kong Customs delegation, including the members of Guards of Honour, joined the celebration activities, including the flag raising ceremony.
