The "Oxfam Trailwalker 2023" charity event was successfully held on 24 November. The Department sent eight teams to participate in the 100km challenge. One team achieved an impressive finish time of 21 hours and 44 minutes.
The teams assembled with enthusiasm at the starting point in Pak Tam Chung, Sai Kung, and received cheers from Hong Kong Customs officials and Customs YES Deputy Executive Directors. With the starting horn, the teams embarked on the journey, determined to raise funds for Oxfam's poverty alleviation efforts.
The C&ED Volunteer Team provided logistical support throughout the event, the Deputy Commissioner (Management and Strategic Development) of Customs and Excise, Mr Lai Lau-pak, visited and showed his support to the team. Customs YES members also volunteered to congratulate finishers at the finish line.
