The Customs and Excise Department Volunteer Team actively supported two major local sports events. In October, they assisted with supply preparations for the "Sowers Action Challenging 12 Hours" event and cheered on participants at the finish line.The Deputy Commissioner (Control and Enforcement) of Customs and Excise, Mr Chan Tsz-tat, and Head of Trade Controls, Mr Li Man-kai, showed their support and congratulated the staff who completed the race.
In November, the Volunteer Team verified participants' identities and provided identification wristbands for a sports event on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (Hong Kong Section).
These two events raised funds and allowed volunteers to contribute to society while adding vibrancy and excitement to the local sports events.
