With the support of the Central Government, the HKSAR Government closely deliberated and coordinated with Guangdong and Shenzhen to resume normal travel between Hong Kong and the Mainland in a progressive, orderly and comprehensive manner. Operation at all boundary control points(BCPs)has been fully resumed from 6 February 2023.
In implementing the full resumption, Hong Kong Customs has always been well prepared to provide passenger clearance service. Efforts were made in training, deployment of manpower and publicity. All BCPs have been in good operation and people can travel across the border smoothly.
Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point also commenced passenger clearance service on 6 February 2023. The recent provision of passenger clearance service marked an important milestone in the continuous enhancement of clearance capability of the BCPs between HKSAR and Shenzhen.
