In view of the full resumption of normal travel between Hong Kong and the Mainland since 6 February 2023, Hong Kong Customs proactively conducted publicity campaign at popular tourist hotspots to raise inbound tourists’ awareness of their consumer rights. Mobile promotion vehicle was deployed to introduce the Quick Response Team(QRT)of Hong Kong Customs. QRT was specifically responsible for handling complaints involving short-haul visitors, temporary or mobile stalls. To address the pressing needs of tourists, complaints would be promptly referred and handled with priority.
