On 8 May, the Commissioner of Customs and Excise, Ms Louise Ho, led a delegation to attend the 6th WCO Global AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) Conference co-hosted by the WCO and the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China in Shenzhen.
Under the theme "Harnessing the Power of AEO Programmes for Inclusive and Sustainable Global Trade", the three-day conference gathered about 1,200 global representatives to discuss the AEO Programme's transformative potential. Ms Ho witnessed the signing of Action Plan for the AEO Mutual Recognition Arrangement between Hong Kong Customs and the South African Revenue Service.
