Twenty-two tertiary students participated in the Customs YES Summer Internship Program 2024. Over six weeks, they were assigned to various formations, gaining firsthand experience in Customs operations, including logistical supports at control points, outreach liaison, youth events organization, promoting trade facilitation measures.
As the internship concluded, the Deputy Commissioner (Management and Strategic Development) of Customs and Excise, Mr Chan Tsz-tat, shared insights from his own university internship and career at Hong Kong Customs. He encouraged the interns to seize opportunities to broaden their horizons and engage in activities organised by Customs YES.
