The Fujian-Guangdong-Hong Kong Single E-lock Scheme was officially launched on 17 July. The Commissioner of Customs and Excise, Ms Louise Ho, attended the launching ceremony in Xiamen, Fujian Province. On the same day, three trucks carrying transhipment goods left Fujian, arriving at the Hong Kong International Airport the following day for further overseas shipment. With Fujian joining Guangdong and Hunan Province in this initiative, the Scheme aims to promote various local products internationally and consolidate Hong Kong's position as an international logistics hub, benefiting both regions.
