The "Co-operative Arrangement on the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Customs Clearance Information Platform" was signed on 12 June, marking the official start of work on the Information Platform, which is one of the key initiatives under the Cooperative Arrangement on Smart Customs Development between the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC) and Hong Kong Customs. Expected to be rolled out by the end of this year, it will provide a one-stop information service to the public through a website and mobile application to enhance the efficiency of cross-boundary flow of people and cargo in the Greater Bay Area (GBA). The three Customs administrations will continue to optimise the functions of the platform to promote connectivity within the GBA.
