Shopping Mid-Autumn Festival Foods
Mid-Autumn Festival is around the corner. Consumer Protection Bureau will step up our enforcement action by conducting more test purchases of fruits and other festive foods as well as more inspections of weighing equipment used by traders to ensure their compliance with the law. Customs also draws the public attention to the following tips when shopping for festive foods:
- Can I see scale reading?
- Is the weighing tray empty before weighing?
- Is the price clearly displayed?
- Is the weight sufficient?
