■The Commissioner of Customs and Excise, Ms Louise Ho, delivers a speech in the launching ceremony of Hunan-Guangdong-Hong Kong Single E-lock Scheme.
The Hunan-Guangdong-Hong Kong Single E-lock Scheme (SELS) was officially launched on 13 June 2023. Following Guangdong Province, Hunan Province is the second Mainland province to participate in the SELS. The Commissioner of Customs and Excise, Ms Louise Ho, attended the launching ceremony in Changsha, Hunan and delivered a speech to share the latest and future development of the SELS.
The first batch of transhipment postal items was successfully delivered to the Air Mail Centre of Hong Kong International Airport from Changsha on the next day and was transhipped to overseas destinations. The new "green lane" helps promote Hunan's products to international markets and consolidates Hong Kong's position as an international logistics centre, unleashing unlimited business opportunities for Hong Kong's logistics industry.
■The Hunan-Guangdong-Hong Kong Single E-lock Scheme was officially launched on 13 June, with the first transportation truck departing from Changsha, Hunan.
