The epidemic has gradually stabilised since September 2022. Customs resumed overseas visits right away. A number of directorate officers led delegations to participate in international conferences to enhance multilateral collaboration on trade facilitation, combat transnational organised crime and tell the good stories of Hong Kong. They have visited various countries including Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, France, Belgium, South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore.
Customs made overseas visits to and participated in international conferences in nine countries and 11 cities in four months of time to promote exchange and co-operation with different international organisations and entities in their respective fields.
