Directorate officers and guests prayed for the newly completed staff quarters.
The construction of the long-awaited Wong Tai Sin Sheung Fung Street Customs Staff Quarters was completed and ready for application. Its inauguration ceremony was held on 10 November 2022 with the attendance of Directorate officers. A ritual was held during the ceremony to pray for residents' safety, health and prosperity.
It is the Department's first staff quarters that allow the keeping of retired Customs Detector Dogs. A retired dogs' area was specially built in the garden to facilitate the care of retired Customs Detector Dogs.
