The Commissioner of Customs and Excise, Ms Ho Pui-shan; Deputy Commissioner (Management and Strategic Development), Mr Lai Lau-pak; Acting Deputy Commissioner (Control and Law Enforcement), Ms Ng Kit-ching; Assistant Commissioner (Intelligence and Investigation), Mr Woo Wai-kwan; and colleagues from the Customs Athletic Association and Customs Volunteer Team as well as members of Customs YES participated in the "Lifeline Express Charity Walk 2022" organised by Lifeline Express at Clear Water Bay Country Club on 26 November 2022.
This event was a charity walk organised by Lifeline Express to raise funds for the prevention and treatment of blindness in the Mainland. The guest of honour, the Secretary for Security, Mr Tang Ping-keung, led the heads of the disciplined services to kick off the fundraising activity. Colleagues and Customs YES members actively participated in the activities. Under the theme of "Hope in Every Step", they completed the 3.5 km race and raised funds for patients with eye disease who are in need, and to restore their vision and continue the sight saving mission of Lifeline Express.
Colleagues actively participated in and completed the 3.5 km charity walk with sweat and effort to raise funds for the Health Express on the prevention and treatment of blindness in the Mainland.
