Who requires a permit
Any persons who remove dutiable commodities are required to have relevant permits issued by this Department.

How to apply
Applications can be made electronically from 7am to 11pm everyday (including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) through one of the following electronic service providers:
- Brio Electronic Commerce Limited;
- Global e-Trading Services Limited; or
- Tradelink Electronic Commerce Limited
The processing time for a permit application is normally half a working day upon receipt of all necessary information, documents and duty payable as applicable. Service charges will be charged by the service providers. No charge is levied by this Department.
