Hong Kong Customs introduces the “Virtual Customs Ambassador, XiaoHui” on Wechat, Whatsapp and Facebook
Hong Kong Customs earlier developed the Smart Customs Interactive Response System and introduced the "Virtual Customs Ambassador, XiaoHui". Combining artificial intelligence (AI) and natural language processing technologies, XiaoHui is able to answer general enquiries in relation to Customs work from members of the public and travelers on the Customs Homepage and at Control Points in real time. Today (March 26), Hong Kong Customs has extended the service to the various social media platforms, including WeChat, Whatsapp and Facebook, to better facilitate the public and travellers from the Mainland and around the world.
